I’ve been debating doing one of these for awhile, and I’ve gotten a ridiculous amount of new followers over the past week, so thought it was about time! (Also taking the chance to list frequently used tags for the sake of your Tumblr Saviors.)
So, hi! This is me. I’m Avery. I’m 20 years old and live just outside New Orleans. I’m addicted to the internet, politically liberal, about 80% gay, alternately snarky and sentimental, and constantly trying to find a balance between fandom and rl (which is difficult because there’s so much overlap, thanks guys).
Current username comes from the final scene between Sarah Jane and the Doctor in The Wedding of Sarah Jane Smith.
I’ve been involved in fandom in some capacity for about ten years now (seriously, I wrote my first bit of fanfiction at 11 years old, it’s fabulous). Major fandoms over the years have included Harry Potter, 24, and Battlestar Galactica, as well as various actors and actresses. (I have a thing for attractive ladies old enough to be my mom (or grandma, really); I’ve loved pretty much every lady featured here at one point or another.)
Right now, my main fandoms - and those most often featured here - are Doctor Who (emphasis on the 10th Doctor era and anything Sarah Jane Smith), Battlestar Galactica, and Harry Potter. Other TV shows include 24, Damages, Dexter, Glee, Lost, Sanctuary, Sherlock, Stargate SG-1, The Closer, The Sarah Jane Adventures, The West Wing, The X-Files, Torchwood, and other miscellany. Main celeb loves at the moment are Mary McDonnell, Elisabeth Sladen, David Tennant, Catherine Tate, and Dianna Agron. My fic can be found here.

I get really twitchy when people don’t tag things properly because as much as I love some blogs, I’m not really interested in a million, idk, Helena Bonham Carter or Chris Heyerdahl posts on my dash.
